Job Description
Leading provider of exclusive travel discounts and corporate perks is looking for someone to lead site analytics across its web properties serving over 60 million members. This Sr. Analyst, Site Analytics role will report to the VP, Marketing & Customer Insights and engage Business and Marketing peers to understand their measurement and tracking needs; work with the Technology team to understand current site architecture, recommend and implement tagging; and design and deliver reports. As such, you’ll work with marketing & product leaders across the company to achieve important revenue and growth goals, and directly impact the design & evolution of their consumer-facing web properties.
Both strategic and technical proficiency is required in this role, as you will be hands on with Adobe tools (Adobe Analytics, Launch, Workspace, Report Builder, Target). You will lead analytics tagging projects from business requirements gathering through implementation and QC.
You should be able to occasionally commute to one of the company’s office locations (NYC, Miami, or Orlando), although we expect this role can be mostly remote.
Primary responsibilities include:
Work with various internal business owners and stakeholders to understand business objectives and recommend corresponding measurement strategies
Develop clear and specific Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to ensure all parties are aligned on how project deliverables will address business objectives
Translate BRDs into detailed and thorough technical specifications documents that will provide clear direction to Technology team (Developers)
Audit analytics objects, tags and reporting elements and recommend fixes or enhancements to achieve business goals
Independently update data layers and tag manager code to implement new / enhanced tracking and reporting capabilities
Perform all necessary testing and QA
Create new and custom reporting
Maintain up-to-date technical specifications, SDRs and any additional documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive analytics tagging and reporting
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Industry experience in live entertainment, travel or hospitality
- Experience with SQL and Tableau
- Web development experience, familiarity with multiple programming languages
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in analytics implementation role(s) using Adobe products, expert level, specifically: Adobe Analytics, Launch, Workspace, Report Builder, Target
- Highly proficient using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Expertise leading tagging projects from inception through completion including partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders to build requirements, implementation and QC
- Proficiency using debugging tools
- Strong analytical skills including experience building measurement plans and evaluating competing measurement and attribution methodologies
- Experience with E-commerce measurement and KPIs
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple high-priority projects
