Friendly, independent NYC healthcare ad agency is hiring an Account Supervisor with a digital background to work on direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns. This role will focus on helping diabetes patients understand their treatment options.
This is a 50-person agency that offers lots of support and access to mentors, high visibility and aggressive path to promotion.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Ability to manage digital projects, including web site development, digital ad campaigns, social media and 1:1 patient support programs
- Demonstrates thoughtful decision-making & offers solutions/recommendations
- Knowing when and what to ask to arrive at the deepest insights
- Ensures strategic alignment in all agency output
- Handles daily tasks including, but not limited to: leading client calls, client call recap summaries/next steps, developing project briefs, providing constructive feedback and leading creative team, Veeva entries, attending MLRs, assisting in oversight for budget, competitive research and analysis, strong partnership with Project Management to ensure timeline compliance and initiation of new projects, internal management of projects and budgets, and handling special projects as requested
- Proactively seeks and shares industry insights, awareness and understanding of competitive landscape (internal and external)
- Leads annual account planning
- Uses data driven insights to inform strategic and tactical planning
- Looks for opportunities for business growth (organic and in-organic)
- Looks for opportunities within the agency (new business pitches, pro-bono, internal committees)
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3-years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising
- DTC experience required
- Experience in digital projects preferred
- Experience in diabetes category preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects & assignments in a day, strong prioritization skills
- Superb presentation and communication skills, professional demeanor
- Prior digital and social media experience preferred
- Experience utilizing Veeva
- Experience building client relationships & trust
- Experience directing & fostering vendor partnerships
- Adherence & understanding of internal/client processes
- Accountability & knowledge of finances
