Friendly, independent NYC healthcare ad agency is hiring a Senior Account Executive to collaborate with a team and work as a trusted partner to clients. Their focus is to utilize creative knowledge and collaborate to improve health and save lives.
This role will focus on the management of daily account activities to ensure agency and client expectations are met. The ideal candidate will have experience marketing to physician/HCP audiences.
This is a 50-person agency offers lots of support and access to mentors, high visibility and aggressive path to promotion.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead in meetings internally and externally
- Develop effective campaign briefs in conjunction with strategy/planning
- Provide constructive, strategic creative feedback
- Manage junior team members
- Understand the strategic nature of the account and clearly articulate that internally and externally
- Sell in new ideas internally and externally
- Financial planning
- Recommend efficiencies (internally)
- Accountable for budgets/timelines/deliverables
- Share strategic insights with others internally and externally
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising or digital marketing firm
- Ability to manage multiple projects & assignments in a day
- Pharma marketing experience/ knowledge
- Experience building client relationships & trust
- Experience directing & fostering vendor partnerships
- Adherence & understanding of internal/client process
- Accountability & knowledge of finances
- Creative thinker (Solution oriented)
- Ability to manage up and down
- Experience managing junior staff (an Account Executive)
- Seeks opportunity outside of job description
- Previous experience with VEEVA, a plus (MLR Reviews)
- Helpful to have HCP experience (Respiratory or CNS/Oncology, a PLUS!)
